VP of Long Term Care Business Development Accelecare Wound Centers
The Vice President of Business Development is the company?s team leader for a designated territory, responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of new hospital leads, managing the sales process with C-level hospital executives and closing new hospital management contracts. The Vice President of Business Development will achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas within a defined territory. The position involves 50-60% travel.
5+ years experience in successfully selling contract management services to ?C? level hospital executives.
Proven capability in executive level presentations, including financial projections and customer value propositions.
Demonstrated hospital industry knowledge in the areas of clinical operations, financial analysis, business development, marketing and legal and ethical practices.
Well developed territory planning and development ability.
Ability to investigate and understand customers buying motivations/barriers and move them along to a decision.
Comfort in learning and becoming conversant in a clinical discipline.
Strong internal and external communication skills.
Computer literacy to support development of presentations and territory management including utilization of sales force automation applications.
Leadership in an executive team sales process.
Bachelors degree, MBA or MHA a plus.
