The VP of Marketing is a key leadership role at LeadPages that provides strategic insights and recommendations, internal and external brand evangelism, and quantifiable contributions to the overall achievement of LeadPages? objectives. You will be reporting directly to our CEO.

In just over a year, and with a very small team and few resources, LeadPages has generated millions in revenue and has released game changing innovations; we're the first company to apply "big data" approaches and "network effect" thinking to post-click marketing (don't worry if you don't understand what this means: we'll explain it during our interview).
We are (humbly) considered a thought leader in our space because we precisely skated to where the puck was going before anyone else left the bench.
Thanks to visionary leadership, our dedicated team, and a truly astonishing road map, LeadPages? growth potential is huge.
The last 12 months have been amazing: our product?s impact is swelling and the LeadPages? ground floor is practically quaking.
To accelerate our growth, LeadPages just raised a Series A round of funding from some of the best and most well-known early stay venture capitalists in the world. We're doubling the size of our team and we're going to lock in our leadership position over the next 12-18 months.
Now, our Marketing team wants a dynamic leader.

You have expert-level experience in online marketing (B2B and B2C).
You will always give your assessment and strategy for achieving desired outcomes, but you encourage input and create space for collaboration.

You understand that the ultimate job of marketing is to ?create a customer.?
You strike the perfect balance between strategy creation and precise execution.
You have a Jedi-like talent for identifying, hiring, and motivating talented people.
You want to be on the ride from 30 people all the way to IPO.

You love to treat people who work with you extremely well.
You have a unique combination of skills, talents, and mindset including:
You're a master copywriter with impeccable communication skills - both verbal and in writing.
Expertise in launching and managing comprehensive, measurable online marketing programs.
Insight into leveraging social media in both an engagement and measured capacity.
A successful track record managing large email campaigns.
A masterful approach to brand positioning, consistency, and reputation management.
In addition, you have no problems:
Assisting with PR strategies.
Cultivating a high-performance marketing team.
Brand building and playing a key, strategic role at a scaling technology.
Driving qualified inbound leads (our sales peeps love you).
Creating a content strategy, including blogging, social media, and other avenues you suggest.
What?s the plan?
Ours is an awesome opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a game-changing company and make a serious impact. Your role will evolve as LeadPages grows and you will play a big part in shaping it, but here?s a rough sketch of your initial responsibilities.
Evaluate and elevate current marketing strategies and programs
Create a cohesive brand platform and compelling positioning in order to increase industry and customer awareness of LeadPages
Own the development and maintenance of marketing budgets and forecasts
Establish and integrate campaign tracking practices
Define success metrics that will drive marketing decisions
Improve customer loyalty, evangelism and retention, measurable by significantly increasing LeadPages? conversion rate and lifetime value
Fortify the Marketing team through coaching, mentoring, and raising the team's ability to deliver and exceed expectations
Develop and manage affiliate partnerships
Leverage analytics to both support online marketing programs and build effective, inspiring and differentiating brand campaigns
Define lead nurturing workflows and apply email marketing automation
Optimize site conversion through A/B and multivariate testing
Generate prospect lists for the sales team and implement lead scoring to prioritize leads
Execute a content strategy that supports SEO and establishes a thought leadership position in the industry
Establish a PR strategy that supports our marketing goals
Implement brand reputation tracking and management
Identify relevant events and conferences to promote products and drive growth
Work closely with Product Development, Sales, and other departments to create demand and recognition for the Company and its products
