Plans and directs all aspects of an organization's marketing and sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. Responsible for the operations budget, ensures proper record keeping, documentation, and dispersal activities adhere to company policies. Protects the interests of the Company in accordance with legal requirements and governmental guidelines;
Develops and oversees the sales function, including proposal responses, contract updates, account management, sales reporting and presentations. Ensuring the department employees and sales plan are organized to achieve maximum sales volume. Plans and directs contract, billing and office management to improve and maintain optimal process workflow, vendor management, revenue reporting and general support
Develops and oversees the marketing function, such as advertising, trade shows, promotional campaigns, client newsletters, direct mail programs, web site content, media relations, sales collateral and business intelligence. Identifying key marketing outlets and competitive strategies and business development;
Requires at least BSEE/CS, or equivalent and MBA with and 10 years of relevant work experience in semiconductor chip industry, MPEG video compression are a plus. 2-3 years of VP M&S experiences are preferred.
Must be charismatic with strong excellent communications and people skills, can work together well with engineers and marketing people.
Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
