Fast-growing digital publisher of licensed interactive episodic content on all gaming platforms is looking for an individual to take P&L responsibility to accelerate revenue growth by optimizing the distribution strategy, enhancing the customers? experience, and exploring new partnerships and business models.
Strategic:
Develop and execute strategies and plans and ensure that the online growth strategy aligns with the organization?s overall business strategy
Represent and enhance the end user experience in negotiations with management, development, and marketing
Research and evaluate market trends and emerging business models
Craft new initiatives and marketing partnerships to grow the business
Communicate strategy to all key stakeholders; serve as subject matter expert for online commerce across the enterprise
Operational:
Maximize the overall sales effectiveness of the Telltalegames.com website and online distribution network
Develop and execute Telltale?s online customer acquisition, conversion and retention marketing strategies
Create and execute on strategic efforts to grow traffic consistently month over month, including collaboration with the Product Development team to design new products or enhance existing products to improve traffic performance and encourage community
Implement the best practices for driving traffic through paid and organic search, banner adds, user generated content and viral means
Identify, develop and negotiate business relationships to grow revenue, audience, and traffic
Manage milestones, deadlines and scheduling for multiple simultaneous projects; ensure effective communication of all online initiatives
Analyze:
Define and evaluate critical metrics
Manage key drivers behind sales and gross profit margin, including: traffic, average order value and conversion
Leverage site analytics to monitor performance and guide action
Essential Skills
A strong understanding of web marketing strategies and community building
Experience with sophisticated web analytics reporting systems
Experience managing email campaigns
Experience in eCommerce and managing eCommerce sites
Excellent communication skills
Able to build, grow and expand the business
Analytical mindset with an understanding of statistical testing methodologies
Experience with campaign tracking and ROI-driven optimization
Self-starter, hands on, outgoing, personable, and proactive with an intense attention to detail
Proven ability to manage and motivate staff
Strong balance between business and creative sense
Essential Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years Internet e commerce experience
Minimum of 3 years direct management experience, preferably of creative/strategic alliances teams in a consumer internet, media, or entertainment company
Undergraduate degree. (MBA preferred)
