VP of Product Management Apangea Learning
COMPANY PROFILE:
We are a national leader in adaptive educational math software. Think Through Math integrates online instruction that builds higher order thinking skills with just-in-time online tutoring by US math teachers. Because we are effective and inexpensive, TTM is recognized as a disruptive innovation and in 2012 won the Software and Information Industry Association?s prestigious CODiE Award for Best Math Instructional Solution. We built a new version of our learning management system in 2012. Our n-tiered application is written in Ruby on Rails, accesses the Postgres database and is hosted on Heroku on Amazon Web Services.
A great team and these powerful trends are causing TTM to grow very rapidly: the shift from textbooks to digital; 36 million US students who aren?t proficient in math; the introduction of standards emphasizing higher order thinking; falling student-to-computer ratios and mounting evidence that math remediation is best done through the kind of adaptive, personalized instruction that we offer.
We are seeking a leader to establish the Product Management discipline within TTM to support our rapid growth and enhance our competitive position. The Product Manager will work with key stakeholders throughout the company to plan and execute our development roadmap. We seek an ?A?-caliber Product Manager to join us in creating a market-leading company that makes a difference in students? lives. In addition to competitive cash compensation, she or he will be a co-owner and share in the rewards of TTM?s success.
