XL Hybrids is an exciting, high-growth hybrid vehicle technology company founded in 2009 by MIT graduates. We have developed and launched a unique and patented hybrid electric powertrain conversion product for commercial fleet vehicles which reduces fuel consumption and offers compelling value. Our team headquarters is based in a brand-new 10,000 square foot state of the art facility in Boston. We are looking for high-energy, creative, and ambitious professionals to join our team. This position requires extensive travel including working out of XL Hybrids? Boston office for a total of at least 1 week per month. Relocation to Boston is optional.

Job Description:
As VP of Sales with XL Hybrids, you will take on a leadership role within the company and work directly with the President and senior management to build a rapidly growing and profitable business. Responsibilities include:
? Selling on the front line to close deals with Fortune 500 companies
? Ramping revenue from hundreds of thousands to tens of millions in two years
? Building and leading a world-class sales team to sell directly to large commercial fleets
? Working with President and management to establish and improve sales strategy / process and managing the development of new sales collateral
? Coordinating with President and management on implementing sales contracts, and coordinating the timing of product delivery with our operations strategy / team
? Designing and implementing a customer management and satisfaction strategy
? Managing and maximizing sales channels to meet sales, pricing and margin goals
? Contributing to product development decisions by feeding customer input into product process
We are seeking ambitious team members with strong sales and team skills who can manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and are motivated by aggressive sales targets and rewards.
Required Skills & Experience:
? 10 years of sales experience in commercial fleet vehicles, preferably Class 1-5
? Referenceable $1M+ deals closed with Fortune 500 companies
? Experience building and managing a successful sales team, including hiring and reviewing
? Advanced knowledge of different sales tactics and channels
? Team player as demonstrated by customer and work references
? Comfortable learning new technologies and educating customers
? Enjoys nurturing relationships and developing new contacts
Preferred Skills:
? Selling alternative technology to commercial fleets
? Prior experience selling in an entrepreneurial environment
? MBA or a technical undergraduate degree
Education:
? Minimum college degree, with relevant additional experience
