This is a high-impact, high-leverage role, so we are looking for a smart, passionate and experienced leader. The right candidate understands and has supported the marketing and sales lifecycle for a B2B software service. Key areas of responsibility include positioning, messaging, competitive analysis, sales enablement, and management of product launches. The right candidate is strategic, creative and analytical. This position reports to the SVP, Products.
Primary Duties:
Define positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
Plan and manage product launches
Conduct market and competitive analysis
Own customer intelligence: win/loss, satisfaction metrics, reference accounts
Measure and drive adoption of product and solutions
Accelerate our 500+ sales team with training, collateral and tools to demonstrate and sell Vocus solutions (data sheets, features and benefits, demo scripts, brochures, best practice white papers, presentations, RFP content, case studies, videos, webinars, etc.)
Support media outreach, analyst briefings and social marketing initiatives.
Participate heavily in positioning strategy
Contribute to our blogs and other social media marketing programs
Support event and analyst activities
Required/Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree required. MBA or other graduate degree a plus.
7+ years? experience with marketing and/or product management in B2B or B2C market.
Established track record in spearheading successful integrated product launches with measurable results.
Prior industry experience or background in customer service or support.
Previous experience managing teams
Experience enabling large sales and support teams to win.
Strong analytical skills and passion for analyzing products, competitors, and market dynamics.
Proactive style with discipline for setting priorities, driving decisions, and getting closure on recommendations and issues.
Metrics-oriented and customer-oriented mindset.
Knowledge and experience in customer buying behavior for software-as-a-service (SaaS) is a strong plus
Excellent and creative written and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
