VP, Product Marketing & Sales Enablement Peopleclick
The Director/VP of Product Marketing and Sales Enablement is responsible for our product marketing strategy and execution. Responsibilities will focus around market research, customer service monitoring, market definition, program evaluation, material development and implementation. In addition, this position develops and oversees our ability to consistently and systematically have valuable conversations with our customers and stakeholders to optimize the return on investment of our products. This position will work cross functionally with Product Management and Sales leadership to identify, develop and implement effective and productive marketing strategies and plans. Responsible for resource allocation, including budget and personnel.
? Define marketing strategies/plans to drive sales revenues and sales enablement
? Direct definition of marketing tactical plans for each product area in conjunction with managers and business unit directors, ensuring that tactical plans reflect strategic objectives.
? Ensure that marketing plans are consistent with company's goals and objectives.
? Develop and continuously refine product positioning and messaging to differentiate our products in the market
? Work with marketing team to implement, test and optimize messages and offers across all channels (online, web, events, inside sales and field sales).
? Collaborate with our marketing and creative teams to deliver web content, videos, strategic communications and other marketing assets.
? Develop the master plan for sales enablement activities throughout the year. Ensure alignment of sales enablement activities with key internal and external events, such as key product releases and essential industry tradeshows
? Establish a marketing strategy to achieve brand awareness, lead generation and qualification targets for marketing generated opportunities
? Synthesize field requirements and corporate resources into a comprehensive sales enablement plan through a solid understanding of sales and marketing dynamics
? Create, develop and lead the successful execution of the cross-functional sales enablement programs in conjunction with Product Management, Marketing, Services, and Sales
? Define and manage the execution of sales enablement strategies and analyzes effectiveness of programs
? Support sales efforts and increase adoption and revenue through identification of successful sales strategies, development of sales tools and assets as well as the delivery of impactful training.
? Create new campaigns and optimize existing campaigns based on campaign results and effectiveness
? Develop and manage an automated lead nurturing program
? Effectively communicate lead generation programs, plans and metrics to marketing and sales leadership
? Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure lead generation initiatives meet sales team needs
? Planning and measuring the effective utilization of the marketing budget
? Manage personnel activities of marketing management staff (i.e. hires, fires, trains, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, etc.).
? Review market research to identify existing opportunities of profit.
? Bachelor's degree in related field
? Minimum 10 years of experience in product marketing campaign program management, lead management, and reporting
? Proven experience in monitoring and analyzing data to evaluate program effectiveness and ROI using Salesforce.com and other reporting tools
? Thorough knowledge of all products within a product family, company policies and practices.
? Experience in marketing automation and lead nurturing
? Strong organization, planning and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for both self and team to meet business requirements and deadlines
? Able to produce automated programs and processes to enable lead generation programs and campaigns that drive revenue
? Excellent time management, interpersonal, communications, decision making, presentation and organization skills.
? Strong communication and writing skills
? Demonstrated ability in defining, launching and growing innovative products
