MindClick is seeking a full-time VP of Sales to become a member of a growing team focused on the hospitality industry, and positioned to rapidly expand into more vertical markets. The VP of Sales will be a member of the company's executive team and will report to the CEO. The VP of Sales will build and lead a robust sales team focused on both enterprise sales opportunities with Fortune 1000 clients and SMB opportunities. Job responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy and plan, building and leading a sales organization comprised of both internal and contract sales personnel, and working side by side with the MindClick team to drive rapid conversion, and growth. Candidates must be experienced sales professionals, with a proven track record in delivering rapid growth for SaaS based platforms, building inside and contract sales team for early stage, rapid growth organizations, and serving as a key member of an early stage company's executive team.
--Hands-on sales leadership including generating new business/leads, managing inbound leads and closing key deals
--Attract, train, and mentor a sales team both inside and outsourced sales organizations
--Develop a repeatable and predictable sales methodology and process
--Develop strategies and initiatives to ensure the delivery and optimization of sales
--Motivate individuals and team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives
--Create metrics and regularly report on monthly objectives
--Work closely with marketing, product, technology, and account management teams to ensure strong cross-functional alignment to deliver results
--Proven experience managing sales people to achieve and exceed performance goals
--Strong track record in growing revenue and overachievement of quota expectations at early stage companies with sales team
--Experience developing and building sales processes is a plus
--Experience at SaaS companies (esp. selling to marketing) is a plus
--Candidate must have solid experience in Fortune 1000 enterprise sales and SMB markets
--Candidate must have recent and significant experience in a leadership role at a start-up or small company
--Outstanding communication, coaching, team player, and collaborative leadership skills
--Demonstrated interest in sustainability
Timeframe and Compensation:
This is a full-time position. Compensation is commensurate with experience and market rates.
Start date is October, 2013
