VP, Sales EXPO Communications, Inc.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED We are looking for a VP to provide hands-on, sales and account leadership for one of our largest and fastest-growing strategic clients. As VP, you will be responsible for setting account strategy and partnering with key internal stakeholders to build a successful execution. You'll build a team to ensure that you are able maintain relationships at all levels within the client. You will be an active participant in the product development process, engaging with the technology, business and marketing teams, to represent the needs of our largest account. Previous experience with working in or with consumer packaged goods companies in an online environment is required. SAAS platforms, social media or online video is preferred. This role will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer of the company. Compensation is competitive and includes salary, benefits, and stock options.
Develop 12 month account plan, gain internal buy in, and lead organization to successfully execute
Hire and mentor a Sales Manager to assist in the execution of account goals
Collaborate and develop consultative relationships with stakeholders at client from corporate through brand levels.
Serve as key input to product planning process based on thorough understanding of client needs (get VP Product access to key stakeholders to assist in product development)
Leverage global stakeholders to drive global account expansion
Partner with key agencies for client to ensure successful executions as well as to identify new opportunities
Utilize retail team to gain access to sales data/retail success as well as to drive global retail distribution
Partner with client services to ensure successful executions and thought leadership for case studies
10-15 years of experience in sales and account management
Proven ability to manage and grow a multi-million dollar Fortune 500 account.
Experience meeting/exceeding quota
Demonstrated ability to lead others (that work for you as well as those that don't)
Experience recruiting and mentoring a Sales Executive
Extraordinary ability to collaborate with and inspire technical and non-technical departments, as well as customers and other external stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong interpersonal and presentation skills
Passion and familiarity with current internet and digital trends, including social media and online video
Thrives in an entrepreneurial, deadline-driven, fast-paced team environment
Experience working with or for CPG companies
BA or BS, MBA preferred
