VP Sales, West Clarabridge
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED In this key role, the VP of Sales, West will be responsible for achieving, creating and managing Clarabridge?s sales and profitability targets for the West. This position is responsible and accountable for deals, sales revenue and profitability as well as sales across all Clarabridge products and business areas. The ideal candidate will champion the software sales, SaaS, solution selling /consultative sales approach. This position will steer revenue/deal targets and related measures (tactical approach, investment, deal quality) as well as market introductions and demand plans from the top down for new products and significant market launches.
The VP of Sales, West holds the overall leadership, line management and development responsibilities of all sales personnel in the region.
Manage the overall sales process; set appropriate metrics for sales funnel management
Develop and implement an annual Sales Plan in execution of the business goals, including the establishment of both annual and quarterly sales objectives and accurate forecasting and budgets
Collaborate with Leadership Team in setting sales strategy and growth objectives
Control planning, staffing, budgeting, manage expense priorities and recommend and implement changes to methods
Develop and oversee the hiring and development of a high performing sales organization, establish compensation, training and sales incentive programs
Responsible for pipeline development, enterprise deal management and quota attainment
Represent Clarabridge at trade shows, conferences, industry meetings and other avenues to initiate sales of the Company?s products
Travel as necessary within West region in support of Account Executives
Proven track record of exceeding assigned sales goals and quotas in the enterprise software space
Minimum of 10 years experience selling enterprise software and services with a background in effective account management
Minimum of 5+ years in a sales vice president or equivalent role with a proven track record of driving strong sales results against target plans. Prefer experience overseeing high growth software or software-related services business
Experience managing teams of quota bearing high-volume sales reps across multiple states. Specifically, sales management experience in the Corporate market and Enterprise markets
Experience with consultative technology and/or business solution sales
Demonstrated strength in effective relationship management including the ability to build strong internal networks with other functional teams
Excellent sales coaching skills and strong and disciplined sales management process that promotes accountability and success
Successful history of working in lengthy and complex sales cycles
Exceptional time management skills to allocate resources with proper, qualified sales opportunities
The ability to work well in an entrepreneurial environment and 'wear multiple' hats when necessary
Ability to provide keen market insight
Excellent communication skills
