Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Vice President ? Talent Management is responsible for guiding the strategy and direction for the design and deployment of training and orientation and talent management activities across several sites and locations in order to improve organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and lead the training, development, coaching and career counseling initiatives to support the culture, rapid growth and long-term objectives of the business.
Develop an institutional context for the organizational development/learning programs. Manage communication across the firm regarding these efforts.
Build a comprehensive framework for talent development and talent management at all levels of the organization.
Coordinate and implement succession planning and strategies to recognize and reward employees and high potential talent.
Proactively advance innovative approaches to learning and pioneer a progressive agenda for technology-driven education.
Effectively manage employee relations, investigations and HR policies.
Qualifications
Professional:
8-12 years of leadership experience in the talent management
An in-depth understanding of training, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, organizational development and talent management
Possesses a collaborative style that works well with management and employees
Has a successful track record leading a talent management function
Personal:
A highly intelligent individual with a substantial degree of intellectual curiosity
A career-motivated professional who possesses a superb work ethic
A self-starter who is able to work well independently. Possesses a high level of self confidence and an entrepreneurial spirit
An outgoing individual who has excellent interpersonal skills and good presentation skills. Is able to present effectively to senior management
