Background: We are currently accepting resumes for the position of 2nd shift material handler handler/driver in our shipping department to load, unload, and deliver materials and product. The schedule for this position will be Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:00pm (subject to change based on business requirements). Ours is a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, so if you thrive on challenge and taking accountability for your work, this is the place for you.Description: Primary responsibilities include:
?Prepare materials for shipping, including installing strapping, bracing, or padding
?Load and unload commercial vehicles
?Operate hand truck, electric dolly, or electric hoist
?Make deliveries using 24? Box Truck as needed
?Move waste from assembly line to dumpsters
?Complete daily logs
Responsibilities: Successful candidates will possess:
?High School Diploma or equivalent
?Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
?Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills
?Manual dexterity
?Ability to lift materials, boxes, product, etc. weighing up to 50 lbs.
