JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary of Functions:
We are seeking experienced Warehouse Specialists for our operation in the French Camp, CA area.
Work schedules available are:
Tuesday through Saturday 1:00 pm ? 9:30 pm
Summary of Functions:
Performs a variety of warehousing duties which require an understanding of the establishments storage plan. Work involves most of the following: Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. Uses DSS in the performance of the requirements. Must have MHE license. Must have MHE license and be capable of operating MHE with 4K and 6K capacity
Essential Functions:
Receive and process inbound freight according to established New Breed procedures; sign bills of lading for correct amounts; verify there is no visual damage to cartons. Complete New Breed receiving log, move material to the QA designated area or Grief area as appropriate, using document material handling procedures.
Perform order pulling and order processing activities from picking documents for outbound orders
Complete outbound order processing functions; labeling, supplying dunnage, completing outbound shipping logs and moving material to designated staging areas
Available to work overtime during the week and weekend as necessary and determined by workflow
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of the position, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms, at times above the head; and talk and hear
The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl, and occasionally required to climb; must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
The employee must regularly lift up to 35 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, the employee must be able to move to 500 pounds on wheeled carts
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; six months or more related experience and/or training or combination of education and experience
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure documents; understanding of shipping and receiving process documents as they relate to the overall company quality objectives
Read, speak and understand English
Previous warehouse experience
Prior forklift experience.
Ability to pass background, security clearance, drug test and integrity test. Active DOD clearance helpful.
Must be US Citizen.
