JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary of Functions:
Responsible for supervising shipping, receiving and general warehouse functions to ensure cost effective, efficient and safe transportation and receipt of goods. Ensure that materials shipped and received are verified against pertinent documentation. Operate equipment. Recommend and assist in implementing operating procedures, ensure proper care in he use and maintenance of equipment, promote continual improvement within the operation.
Essential Functions:
Supervise personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures, which may include recommendation for hiring, disciplinary action, performance evaluation, training, work allocation and problem resolution
Respond to inquires and research and resolve problems related to transactions
Serve as liaison with other constituencies in the resolution of administrative and operational issues

Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in a warehouse/processing environment
Ability to lift product as deemed necessary
Ability to bend, stoop, and twist as needed
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
4 years of shipping, receiving, inventory, equipment operations and/or maintenance, and clean-up procedures
4 years experience in organizational workflow and operating procedures
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience directly related to responsibilities
Must have experience supervising 20-50 people in multiple departments
