JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary of Functions:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor at our expanding facility in Swedesboro.
Position is available on 2nd shift:
4:30pm - 1:00am Monday through Friday
Summary of Functions:
Supervising shipping, receiving, warehouse or production functions, to ensure cost effective, efficient, safe transportation, processing and receipt of goods.
Ensure that materials shipped, received, or processed are verified against pertinent documentation.
Recommend and assist in implementing operating procedures, ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment, promote continual improvement within the operation.
Essential Functions:
Supervise personnel in accordance with established policies and procedures, which may include recommendation for hiring, disciplinary action, performance evaluations, training, work allocation and problem resolution
Respond to inquiries and research and resolve problems related to transactions
Serve as liaison with other constituencies in the resolution of administrative and operational issues
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
4 years of equipment operation and/or maintenance, knowledge of shop maintenance and clean-up procedures
4 years experience in organizational workflow and operating procedure
Prefer a 4 year degree but minimum of 2 years education beyond High School.
3 - 5 Years experience as warehousing / manufacturing supervisor (floor operations) in a non- union environment.
Must come across as approachable and friendly but must also demonstrate ability to hold people accountable.
Supervised a minimum of 5 to 10 employees (all at one time)
