Astadia is currently looking to hire a Warranty Claims Team Lead in New Holland, PA. The Team Lead will be responsible for the assessment and processing of warranty claims submitted in regards to warranty repair services performed on client-manufactured equipment. All work performed must meet both quality and quantitative standards set. This role will oversee the work of the Warranty Claims Assessors and provide guidance and motivation to the team.Responsibilities:
Utilize facts and resources to process high dollar or exceptional claims within delegation of authority. Prepare and escalate higher value or exceptional claims through the appropriate process.
Coordinate warranty claims operations for a team of processors. Monitor claim volumes to ensure claims processing meets service levels. Monitor claim appeals (response time and response quality). Communicate with dealers and/or Brand field organization on specific claim issues.
Provide hands-on support, interpretation of warranty policy, guidance on claims processing, system expertise, and ad-hoc training on a daily basis for claims processors.
Work with Warranty Processing Leader to conduct scheduled auditing of claims, document and report results, and review with claims processors to improve overall quality of claims processing. Support requests from Warranty Processing Leader for reports, information, and management of improvement projects.
Implement standardized best practices for claim processing processes and procedures to improve processing quality and consistency. Assist Warranty Processing Leader with formalized training for claims processors.
Operate in conjunction with Warranty Processing Leader to communicate with Warranty Processors and with internal and external stakeholders, including dealers, Brand field organizations, and Quality & Product Behavior department. Responsible for communicating trends and issues with Warranty Processing Leader.
