located at offices in Dallas TX and Wellesley MA.
Placemark develops, implements and supports wealth solutions, including Unified Managed
Account platforms and retirement solutions for broker/dealers, registered investment advisors,
banks and family offices. As the separate account industry?s leading independent overlay
portfolio manager, Placemark coordinates multiple investment vehicles such as separately
managed accounts, mutual funds and ETFs into a single customized portfolio.

You will be responsible for gathering requirements, developing and documenting processes and
procedures relating to new or enhanced solutions, and overseeing projects through technical
development and subsequent release to our investment advisor clients. You will work with
people at all levels of the Company in a combination of business, operational, technical and
project management roles.
The Business Analyst develops and delivers use case specifications, writes workflows and
devises various test scenarios for potential layouts of products to be developed for advisor
platforms. This will require gathering and documenting business requirements for new
functionality or enhancements to existing capabilities in a clear, concise manner as well as
organizing and maintaining all project documentation and deliverables (scope, estimates,
designs, requirements, risk, user guides and change management.) You will work with and
between various internal resources involved in the actual development and implementation of
projects for specific sponsors/client organizations and have substantial client interaction. Qualifications
The successful candidate for a Business Analyst role at Placemark will have a builder as
opposed to maintainer mindset; you must demonstrate core skills such as inventiveness,
creativity and an instinctive ability to re-engineer an existing or proposed layout in order to be
considered. You will have two or more years? experience in the financial services industry,
ideally involved with portfolio accounting or custodial platforms for wealth management. An
interest in or demonstrated knowledge of financial markets (equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual
funds, separately managed accounts) and product development methodologies (e.g., agile,
SDLC) would be helpful.
Given the broad level of interaction with both internal resources and clients, you must have
excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills as well as a proven ability to build and
maintain effective working relationships.
