Web Application Developer - Front End Xora

Job Description:

You will have a key role in designing and developing Xoras next generation Mobile Workforce Management Applications. Working from the front end (HTML, JS, AJAX), through the application (Java) and DB layers, your mission will be to create an intuitive, high value user experience. While you will focus on the front end of the application, you have sufficient knowledge and experience to work on all aspects of the application.
Responsibilities:

Help drive Xoras web application strategy and technologies
Work with product management and UI designers to define visual interface and logical design of web-based java applications
Define and develop the Xoras web-based application with emphasis on front end web applications

Qualifications and Skills Required:

BSCS/MSCS or equivalent with at least 5 years of software development experience developing web-based applications.
Knowledge and understanding of what it takes to create a compelling user experience.
Good design aesthetic and demonstrated understanding of what makes a good user experience.
Proven ability to work in collaboration with Product Managers, UI Designers and other engineers to define and develop easy to use web based applications.
Extensive experience with client side Web technologies (JS, JQuery, HTML, CSS, AJAX, etc.).
Experience with J2EE based web application technologies including experience with one or more packages such as JSP, JSF, SPRING, etc.
Knowledge of relational databases and related application technologies (SQL, Hibernate).
Knowledge of mobile application development and location based services is a plus.
Strong oral and written communication and writing skills.
