Job Description:You will have a key role in designing and developing Xora?s next generation Mobile Workforce Management applications. Working from the front end (HTML, CSS, JS, AJAX), through the application (Java) and DB layers, your mission will be to create an intuitive, high-value user experience. You have sufficient knowledge and experience to work on all aspects of the application.
Responsibilities:
Help drive Xora?s web application strategy and technologies
Work with product management and UI designers to define web-based applications
Design and develop the Xora?s web-based application
Qualifications and Skills Required:
BSCS/MSCS or equivalent with at least 5 years of software development experience developing web-based applications.
Knowledge and understanding of what it takes to create a compelling user experience.
Proven ability to work in collaboration with Product Managers, UI Designers and other engineers to define and develop easy to use web based applications.
Extensive experience with J2EE based web application technologies including experience with one or more packages such as JSP, JSF, SPRING, etc.
Strong knowledge of relational databases and related application technologies (SQL, Hibernate).
Experience with client side Web technologies (JS, JQuery, HTML, CSS, AJAX, etc.).
Knowledge of mobile application development and location based services is a plus.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
