Summary/Purpose:This role will be a part of a team that has a wealth of experience in architecting, designing and developing highly available and high throughput applications. This team will offer mentorship through many years of experience in designing and implementing great solutions, using cutting edge technologies and best practices. This person will have the opportunity to create software using the latest tools and platforms to solve business problems in the e-marketing domain.
Responsibilities:
Solve front-end problems in code. Will take the latest UI design in (Wireframe and PowerPoint) and implement this in a web browser.
Maintain and extend existing web applications and web services under the direction of Lead Developers, including applications written in ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and ColdFusion.
Work closely with the team to triage and resolve production issues and bug fixes, maintain the product infrastructure, develop product features and enhancements, and generate reports on the health of systems and clients.
Occasionally assist our Lead UX Designer with design efforts across new and existing features.
Participate in full SDLC
Comply with standards and best practices
Qualifications:
B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience
2-4 years of experience in Microsoft .NET Technology stack
Have a passion for learning, technology, programming and problem solving
Experience with C#, ASP.NET, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, CSS
Have a good understanding of User Experience concepts
Familiarity with MVC, Relational databases/SQL a plus
Knowledge of IIS, WCF, ORM tools and any other OO programming language in addition to C# are a plus
