The Web Architect I is responsible for research, technical design and development on the iModules Encompass platform. This individual is also responsible for code reviews as a member of the architect team.Responsibilities:
Perform research and development on the Encompass platform using .NET 2.0 c#, Ajax, Dhtml, CSS and SQL development.
Conduct defect research and resolution, as well as other application management.
Perform unit testing and write automated tests for all development work.
Participate in a scrum sprint team (agile development) consisting of product managers, quality assurance and other developers.
Perform technical design on both new and existing modules.
Conduct code reviews of other developers at the end of each sprint.
Serve as mentor for technologies utilized in development and implementation practices.
Stay up to date on the latest technologies and apply them as needed on the Encompass platform.
Desired qualifications/experience:
Extensive software development and SQL development experience required.
Must be extremely web savvy.
Good time management and problem solving skills are necessary.
Must be detailed oriented.
Ability to work in a team environment required.
Ability to mentor less experienced team members a plus.
6-10 years .NET web development experience required.
Bachelor?s degree in computer science or related field preferred.
