Web Content Developer / Graphic Designer Numira Biosciences

Position Summary:

The Company seeks an experienced professional to assume the role of Web Content Developer / Graphic Designer. The Web Content Developer / Graphic Designer will be responsible for ensuring the correctness, completeness, and timelines of Numiras website content. The Web Content Developer/Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and maintaining all HTML and dynamic content, as well as all web graphic content.

The ideal candidate must display excellent written and oral skills with demonstrated interpersonal and organizational abilities. Attention to detail is a must. A candidate for this position must be able to work in a varied, fast paced environment. Flexibility and tolerance is a necessity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain and enhance existing Numira websites.
Perform complete testing of Numira websites, engaging users as necessary.
Conduct all user acceptances testing, and report results.
Develop new Web graphic and test content as identified by supervisor and management.
Monitor web pages of competitors, partners, and other relevant organizations in order to stay attuned to development standards and trends.
Coordinate with Numiras SharePoint administrator to provide content for Numiras Intranet Portal.
Maintain and report web usage and access statistics.
Optimize the Numira website's position in the results of popular search engines such as Bing and Google.
Candidate must be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.
Other duties may be assigned as required.

Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
Experience with hardware and software issues.
Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Typing proficiency: 40-60 wpm.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in computer science, MIS, or related experience.
Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, Javascript (jQuery), and cross-platform web accessibility standards.
Must possess strong skills in Joomla.
Must have experience working with relational databases such as MySQL.
Graphic Designer skill set preferred.
Flash video/animation experience preferred.
Experience in structured environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work additional hours as needed.
Respond proactively to training, technical support and customer service needs in line with provided guidelines.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Joomla software, MySQL database software; Internet software and Word Processing software.
