We are looking for web designers with a solid web design portfolio, strong creativity, and preferably experience in ecommerce web design. You will be part of a team of talented and passionate web designers who like to be creative, work hard, have fun and like to share their knowledge. The Web Designer position will report to the Design Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design eCommerce websites for a variety of industries with some logo, social media, and mobile design
Work on multiple projects, organize, and manage your time to meet deadlines
Communicate effectively with customers and Project Coordinators
Provide design elements, comps, templates, and finished designs
Work with Front-end Web developers to create HTML files and optimized graphics
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
1-2+ years experience in web design
BA/BS degree in Interactive design, Communications Design, Graphic Design or a related field preferred
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
Knowledge of HTML and CSS is strongly preferred, but not required
Previous experience with a content management system is preferred, but not required
Previous experience in a web design agency is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and able to meet deadlines
Work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with Microsoft Office & major web browsers
Fluent with Mac OS
