Covestor is hiring a junior web designer / developer to:craft: simple, clean, well-designed pages, content, banners, email templates
develop: using HTML, CSS and some Javascript
visualise: make financial data more accessible and understandable
collaborate: with product, sales, marketing in your office and a London based tech team
You must have:
the problem solving mind of a developer combined with the aesthetic sense of a designer
a passion for web technologies (learning HTML5 and CSS3?)
a perfectionist streak regarding details balanced with a drive to get things done
terrific communication skills, both verbal and written
the desire and ability to grasp new ideas and learn new technologies
You can demonstrate:
1-3 years experience in roles where you are developing and designing for the web
expert knowledge of HTML and CSS, web standards and best practices
proficiency with Photoshop
working knowledge of Javascript / jQuery
solid understanding of layout, typography, color and other design principles
