The Web Designer/Developer should have extensive experience in designing and building websites, microsites, landing pages, and banner ads from concept and design to development and implementation. As the sole designer/developer for Ooma, the work will be challenging and fast paced. To succeed you will need a balance between technical and design skills, a commitment to quality and ability to collaborate with team members. Excellent communication skills are a must.Responsibilities:
?Provide front-end coding expertise to develop new and improve web pages, landing pages, email campaigns, blogs, microsites and other online marketing properties
?Work closely with marketing and product teams to implement versatile front-end solutions to solve web development problems.
?Create production graphics
?Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices
?Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Requirements:
?At least 5+ years of experience hand-coding HTML, CSS and other UI technologies
?Experience with Drupal and JavaScript with programming background to perform front end website development projects
?Competent with web design tools, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Flash, Dreamweaver and Visio
?Experience with Analytics Solutions (e.g. Google Analytics)
?Understanding of good design principles and ability to adhere to complex design specifications during implementation
?Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate and scope the design & development work
?Must be able to work with both technical and non-technical individuals, in gathering information and communicating status
?Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design or Computer Science.
