Web Designer/Developer Sawbuck
We?re looking for skilled web designer/developer who takes pride in turning a great design into a great user experience. You'll join the talented team that designs, develops, implements and iterates Sawbuck?s award-winning web apps. If you know how to code HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, this position might be for you.Core Responsibilities
Design and code fast web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery
Create efficient, reusable front-end code that works across browsers and degrades gracefully
Convert specifications and requirements into functional, beautiful web pages
Assist in the design and documentation of front-end development projects
Work with back-end developers and product managers to build web apps that our users will love
Requirements
Minimum 2 years practical, hands-on experience designing and developing websites
A portfolio that demonstrates your talent and sense of style
Expert knowledge of HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and related web technologies
Ability to create working prototypes from graphical layouts, paper prototypes or wireframes
Expert eye for detail and consistency; no detail is too small or insignificant
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members
Comfortable with an iterative design process that includes accepting and incorporating feedback and constructive criticism
