The web designer will work with Product Management and Engineering to develop and design the core of Socialtext's online collaboration platform. You will be responsible for the overall look & feel of the site while maintaining a flexible template for client customizations. You will work the Director of Product Management to create a flexible style guide and develop a collection of design assets.Responsibilities
Create & modify HTML & CSS for new and existing feature designs
Modify existing and design new icons for various pieces of the application
Work with engineering to find the best design within technical constraints
Work with sales & marketing to support the creation of effective demos
Provide design advice & guidance during feature design phases
Requirements
3+ years experience designing & building modern web applications
Extensive experience with HTML and CSS (Javascript experience a plus)
Experience working as a designer in an agile development environment
Cross-browser design experience
