The Web Developer is responsible for delivering valuable web applications and services. Ideal candidate is able to understand business objectives and collaboratively lead a cross-functional team to deliver results. This position will be located in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Job Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills complemented with an enthusiastic demeanor and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
? Develop new applications and services for the web.
? Maintain current applications, integrations, and services.
? Assist other members of the programming team with various projects.
? Troubleshooting application, integration, and performance issues.
? Maybe called upon at times to lead a small team to deliver results.
? Will work with other senior developers, product managers, and architects to analyze and design solutions.
Job Requirements /Qualifications:
? Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field.
? Minimum 5 years solid, demonstrated experience in web development.
? Experience with integration and/or web applications.
? Proficient in JavaScript and jQuery.
? Proficient in HTML and CSS (HTML 5 and CSS 3).
? Professional experience with No-SQL databases. Working knowledge of MongoDB.
? Deep understanding of MVC and familiarity with popular JavaScript MVC frameworks (backbone, Marionette, knockout, ember, etc.).
? Working knowledge of Node. Professional experience with Node is a big plus.
? Proficient in with SOA and/or REST.
? Knowledge of maintaining and enhancing high transaction websites.
? Knowledge of maintaining and enhancing B2C e-Commerce websites.
? Knowledge of maintaining and enhancing B2B web services.
? Knowledge of Automated Unit Testing.
? Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server) is a plus.
? Proficient in C#; Experience with MVC .Net or Web API is a plus.
? Familiarity with Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, DevOps a plus.
? Prior experience in e-commerce, telco/cable/satellite, utility/home-services industries is a plus.
