One of the most disruptive and exciting startups in the tech industry today, Nutanix is hiring a web developer for our Marketing team to manage our public-facing website in the booming virtualization/Cloud Computing market.We are looking for someone that has a strong background in all aspects of web development, both front and backend using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and jQuery, and thrives on coming up with innovative, creative ways for potential customers to understand complex technology through our website's User Interface. This is a highly collaborative job, we have a small (but growing) Marketing team and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. You should also be familiar with the latest trends in usability, online marketing and traditional advertising and exude curiosity, energy, enthusiasm, and good judgement.
Responsibilities:
Inventory and assess the quality of website content
UI/UX design
Realize business objectives and user goals
Collaborate within the marketing team to determine the conceptual direction of branding
Work with the Director of Marketing to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style
Repurpose, edit and create site content
Develop content migration/production workflow plan
Evaluate and create site metadata
Research content strategy and development best practices
Update, process, and keep current - website, blogs, and social networking
Qualifications:
You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, can quickly change direction, and are eager to learn new technologies as the need arises
Bachelors degree
4+ years of professional web development
Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, jQuery
Extensive experience with MySQL, Adobe Photoshop, HTML5 and mobile web development
