As a Rubyist on our team you you'll be working for an exciting, innovative, startup-like environment with the backing of a well-established company in the online advertising industry developing web based applications that provide comprehensive media quality metrics.
?Deliver world-class software solutions that people love to use.
?Effectively use git with team version control standards to frequently integrate and deploy to our shared test environments.
?Be Agile ? embrace the change inherent in building living, breathing business systems ? make suggestions on improving our development process ? communicate with your team and the business stakeholders.
?Ensure your code is idiomatic ruby, compliant with team and community style/standards. Make every module you touch better than when you found it.
RequirementsQualifications:
?Bachelors Degree in a technical area or equivalent job experience
?5 + years of Software Development experience, at least 3 years with Ruby
?Strong Javascript and AJAX
?LINUX/Unix Skills
?Bootstrap, CSS/standards-based XHTML
?Experience in online advertising a huge plus
?A love of tested, elegant code
?OS X enthusiasm a plus
?Experience with MongoDB and Redis a plus
?EmberJS and AngularJS are pluses
?Must be well versed in Javascript, HTML, and CSS; expertise with JQuery is strongly desired; should be able to explain how to organize these assets for a dynamic web application to support change; experience with the Rails 3.1/3.2 Asset Pipeline is a plus, as is experience with SCSS or CoffeeScript
?Should enjoy solving problems using Object Oriented techniques like metaprogramming, mixins, duck typing, late binding, etc. Must have at least 2 years of experience coding in Ruby.
