Position Purpose: The purpose of this role is to maintain existing proprietary software and web applications by using acombination of technologies while working with business partners to understand customer requirements and implement
new features.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
? Work with domain experts to translate business requirements into high quality working software.
? Troubleshooting, maintaining, deploying existing application (deployments and some troubleshooting after hours)
? Work within a development team which performs software design and development -primary technologies include
.NET 2.0; C#; CSLA
? Add new scalable features and functions for high performance delivery of document processing
? Assist in special projects as needed
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
? Experience developing ASP.NET applications
? Experience working with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
? Experience working with SQL Server 2005/2008 (T-SQL)
? Experience working with SOAP/Web Services
? Experience working with SCM
? Research and application of new technologies and development tools
? High self motivation
? Passion for helping customers succeed
Other valued skills include:
? Working in a SaaS (Software as a Service) business environment
? Microsoft Dynamics GP
? Linux
? Experience with AJAX frameworks: ASP.NET AJAX, jQuery
? Actively pursues knowledge growth in web technologies
Experience and Educational Requirements:
? Experience in web development using above technologies
? Minimum 2 year degree in computer science.
? Four-year degree preferred
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
? Sits at a desk for long periods of time
