We are seeking a Web Developer to join our engineering team! As part of this team, you?ll help develop products which enable our customers to streamline activities across search engines, comparison shopping sites and online marketplaces. We partner with the biggest names on the internet such as eBay, Google, Amazon, Yahoo, Bing, Shopping.com and Shopzilla. As a Web Developer at ChannelAdvisor, you will have the opportunity to contribute and participate in the following capacities:
Participate in a fast-paced agile development team building enterprise-grade Software as a Service offerings.
Live and breathe front-end user interface design and architecture. Build cutting edge UIs that are polished, reusable, and scalable.
Learn and leverage the latest software engineering methodologies and technologies.
Work closely with numerous ?A-List? players in the e-commerce industry, including Google, Yahoo, eBay, Paypal, Amazon, Facebook, Groupon, Microsoft, and more!

With that understood, experience in the following areas should be highlighted if you have it:
Strong familiarity with ASP.NET fundamentals, including WebForms, MVC 4, Web APIs for AJAX, model binding and validation, routing.
Strong understanding of browser fundamentals, including jQuery, CSS, HTML5, plus experience using developer tools such as Firebug and jsFiddle.
Strong understanding of security vulnerabilities and how to test for them, including cross-site scripting (XSS), injection, over posting and under posting.
Experience optimizing code to scale, using profilers and load-testing tools.
Understanding of caching methodologies (browser, CDN, distributed, and in-proc)
Understanding of IIS versions 6.0, 7.5.
