AppFirst is looking for a software developer with a passion for web development and an ability to work with the nuances of visualizing complex data models. In this position, you will be working with the latest technology to create the most extensive data set ever formulated for describing the operation of production applications. An individual motivated by a challenge and interested in solving hard problems is perfect for the job. We prefer intelligent generalists over someone who knows all the technologies.What you?ll be doing:
Interact with and ensure customer needs are identified, prioritized and incorporated in an effective, efficient manner.
Design and extend AppFirst data models in Django and create public APIs and Javascript Libraries to be used for third party integration with the AppFirst product.
Design complex visualizations of our enormous data set with UI/UX designers
Measure and improve usability and scalability.
Automate testing for identifying and solving cross-browser, cross-platform issues.
QA of backend and data accessibility.
Troubleshoot complex development and production application problems and provide technical and production support.
Manage user features, pricing plans, and the billing system.
Support product releases.
Participate in overall design discussions.
Work closely with others in an interactive development environment.
What we?re looking for:
BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field
Passionate about Implementing Progressive UX, Design
Expert in Javascript / JQUERY
Experienced with Django framework and Python Front End development
Experienced with Selenium for automatic testing
Experienced with Selenium for automatic testing
Experience with the details of HTML5 / CSS3 constructs and backwards-compatibility/workarounds
Experienced with Selenium for automatic testing
Experience with iOS and Android Mobile Development and Publish
Knowledge of Google Protobuf, REST APIs, JSON data representation
Knowledge of Flex
Knowledge of Apache configuration
Knowledge of PostgreSQL configuration
Knowledge of Git
Knowledge of Linux system configuration and management
