Web Developer Knewton
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED
The Knewton Adaptive Learning Platform analyzes crazy amounts of interesting data in real-time, every day, from hundreds of thousands of real students and instructors. The window into this platform is knewton.com. We need a lead developer to continue evolving knewton.com and build interactive things on it that let people explore our data.
Web Developer
Collaborate with a small marketing team ? especially the Art Director, copywriter, and Director of Marketing ? to develop knewton.com and new data-driven, public-facing experiences using standard web technologies. Kick it with other software development, analytics, and devops teams for collaboration, back-end development, and infrastructure support. Work closely with company leadership to assist in the planning of internal products and assets. Perform routine site updates.
The Knewton marketing team works separately from the rest of the company's engineering and creative resources to enable everyone to focus on separate roadmaps. We are a tech-centric marketing team that extends well beyond what people typically call "marketing". Over time we hired our own Art Director and web developer ? both remote, part-time gems. We're now bringing all design and development firepower on full-time and turning it up to 11.
Having ramped up design support, the next step is to bring on a someone to lead web development for the team.
