This person will work closely with Product Management and Marketing building industry leading web applications. You will translate rough design concepts into innovative working solutions, establish consistency, and optimize user experience.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Strong development experience with the ability to write front-end code one of the following areas:

Python
Strong HTML
Strong JavaScript
jQuery
AJAX
CSS
Experience with Cheetah (preferred), Django or Mako

2. You should also have experience working with:

Experience with Lighttpd or Apache
Experience with Postgres (preferred) or another SQL server
Eclipse/PyDev

3. The ideal candidate may also have server experience and will have worked pulling expert pages together and/or building data models and figuring out how to call the db/talk to the services layer. (In other words the successful candidate has not only built apis, but knows how to use them to implement applications)

Ability to collaborate with an exceptional team of engineers


Qualifications:

Demonstrable experience building a world-class, consumer web application
Excellent programming skills in Python (preferred), Ruby on Rails, or PHP
Thorough understanding of HTML and CSS
Good understanding of client-side Javascript and AJAX
Good understanding of MVC
Good command of one or more web templating languages
Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
Strong command of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility.
Good understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTTP, REST )
Knowledgeable foundation in interaction design principles
Able to excel in fast-paced environment.
