Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop web based, data driven, scalable applications
Develop rich AJAX-driven web user interface
Maintain existing codebase and extend current functionality
Collaborate regularly with other members of the team, and cross functional teams
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Must work well independently and within a team environment that is fast-paced and deadline-driven
Strong organizational skills and problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL
Proficient in PHP based MVC frameworks, developing object oriented code, Javascript frameworks such as: Prototyp, JQuery or Dojo
Education & Work Experience:
5 plus years in a web development role
Experience integrating PHP with Java codebases is a plus
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other technology or internet-related field
