Tour of Duty:

AdvisorSquare has an immediate opening for a Jr. Web Developer to hand code high impact financial service websites. This position will work directly with top level financial service executives and staff to translate these market leading firms 'brick and mortar' businesses to the Internet. The Web Developer will be responsible for hand coding the project website. The ideal candidate must be experienced with HTML, CSS and jQuery and must have strong account management experience, be a self-starter, and be able to solve problems independently. Must have the ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, problem solve, and consistently meet deadlines.

To Make the Cut

Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science other relevant field.
Clear competence in XHTML and CSS with tableless hand coding experience.
Experience in slicing .psd files for front end development.
Highly proficient in cross browsers compatibility and current web standards.
Working knowledge of jQuery and other JavaScript libraries.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Communication skills are extremely important. Excellent writing, proofreading and presentation skills are a must.
Problem-solving, and decision-making skills, ability to take project from concept to completion
Ability to interact with clients via telephone and resolve issues fully to satisfaction. Coordinating escalations with internal groups for resolutions.
Demonstrated strengths in project management.
Expertise with web design applications (Adobe Photoshop, Flash and Dreamweaver).
2-5 years of working experience
Previous experience in the Account Management, Project Management or "Customer Advocacy", a plus.
Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 a plus.

Day In and Day Out

Coordinate and participate in the programming, implementation and testing of financial websites.
Manage multiple projects and exceed client expectations.
Update and maintain existing web content for home pages, flash slideshows, web-based graphics and search engine meta data (SEO/SEM).
Collaborate with implementation, design and development teams to deliver high impact websites.
Apply consultative approach to guide clients to web site launch.
Work cooperatively with Broker Dealer Marketing and Compliance departments.
Provide regular feedback as to programs effectiveness.
