Web Engineer Courion

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is looking for a challenging career with responsibility for the development and maintenance of the strategic technical direction for web based technologies for Courion Corporation. Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, this position will be responsible for leading and participating in the technical design and development of existing and new web-based applications and products that relate to the structure, usability, and navigation of Courion?s Internet, Extranet, and Intranet websites.
Customer facing responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Courion?s corporate website, customer and partner portals and Intranet properties including search tools, scripts/forms, navigation and API integration with Salesforce.com, Marketo and Remedy
Develop and maintain microsites in support of all marketing campaigns
Support organic search engine optimization on corporate website
Gather and assess business requirements, document requirements and project plans, and manage development projects
Develop interactive Flash movies for use on the website(s) and at events
Manage the ongoing maintenance of Neptune Web content management software (Neptune Web Edit?)
Deploy and manage web analytics and reporting tools across web properties and generate campaign and activity performance reports

Internal facing responsibilities:

Maintain Courion CRM system, an ASP-developed web portal integrated with Remedy and Salesforce.com
Microsoft SharePoint Systems Infrastructure and Support:
Leading contributor to the strategic thinking around the role and direction of SharePoint within Courion
Providing day-to-day administration and support for Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services for Intranet and future extranet environments
Work with IT and Departmental Teams to identify, document, analyze, develop and deliver value-adding SharePoint solution
Actively involved in design review with IT Teams to ensure that the infrastructure design continues to meet the requirements of Courion
Defines and maintains the technical standards that relate to the ongoing development, deployment, maintenance and governance of SharePoint

Required Skills/Qualifications:

Demonstrated skills in HTML, XML, VBScript, JavaScript, ASP.Net, Adobe Flash, MS SharePoint. Salesforce.com, Marketo and Remedy a huge plus
Ability to install, configure, support and troubleshoot the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and Windows SharePoint Services applications
Perform well in cross-functional teams consisting of IT, Marketing, Business Development, Sales, Services and Engineering
Exhibit versatility across various types of web programming approaches and manage simultaneous projects
Work closely with web designer to ensure code and graphics/layout synergy
Clearly communicate and present ideas to technical and non-technical audiences effectively, both orally and in writing
Possess a combination of usability and technical skills to create a powerful online experience
Thorough knowledge of developments in the areas of systems and technology
Thorough knowledge of web based applications and systems
Ability to analyze complex operations and to organize and design their components into logical systems
Exhibit strong project management, communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
Ability to work on multiple projects/tasks at once and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment and possess organization skills to balance and prioritize work
BA or BS (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years? experience in corporate web development desired
