As a Web Engineer, you?ll be developing the next generation of BitTorrent services in close concert with the community and client development team. You'll be implementing web based services supporting the BitTorrent clients and monetization strategies. You will be working the whole stack, from backend APIs, front-end programming and operational support.
The ideal candidate will be an engineer with experience in several of the following areas:
Server side development using one of the the following languages: python, ruby, PHP, perl or java
Architectural issues that influence performance and scalability
Dealing with a lights out operational environment such as Amazon AWS
Configuration and deployment tools like Puppet, Chef, Fabric, JenkinsNice to have experience in advertising and ad servers such as OpenX, AdZerk, DFP, etc.
