As a Web Strategist, we need your help in executing on all these ideas, but also asking the tough questions about which ones are most critical to our growth by helping us prioritize them strategically for maximum benefit. Reporting to the Director of Web Strategy, you will act as the primary liaison between our internal project stakeholders and our creative/engineering teams, providing strategic input and coming up with creative solutions to meet our goals.
While you'll be managing web-based projects from beginning to end, we are not looking for you to be a task master or paper shuffle sensei, that's not this gig, you need to act and think bigger than that. This critical role on our team will provide you the opportunity to help lead a wide variety of fun and exciting projects.
--3+ years experience running web projects
--An energetic, intellectually curious & driven person who can get things done both individually and through collaborative iterations.
--Strong communication and project management skills are key. You are able to both rally and motivate teams across an organization around projects.
--You don't wait to hear back from people, you hunt them down. (Metaphorically.)
--Experience in conversion optimization
--Intermediate understanding of web development technologies and best practices.
--Experience in using tools such as Optimizely, MixPanel, Google Analytics.
--Basic understanding of CMS technologies and workflows.
--Possesses a strong ability to remain calm in the face of pressure. HURRY!! WE'RE GOING TO MISS OUR DEADLINE! Good job. You passed that part.
You will (aka the Nitty Gritty):
--Assist various teams in the marketing department in running their web projects from beginning to end. (Directors and VPs of Marketing, Ops, Brand, Business Enablement etc)
--Help project stakeholders understand and define the scope of their web initiatives.
--Maintain the strategic integrity of each initiative through its project lifecycle.
--Interface with project stakeholders to understand the business case for their projects, helping them think of creative ways to accomplish their initiatives in an efficient manner.
--Work closely with the Director of Web strategy to help complete major web initiatives.
--Resource & prioritize projects across internal and external creative and engineering teams.
--Manage project deadlines and stakeholder expectations.
--Conduct quantitative and qualitative end user research, then present findings and strategies mapped to insights gathered in your research.
