We are currently looking for an experienced Web Technical Architect who will join a dynamic hard-working team of software developers and project leads who design and implement customer-ready solutions for the web and mobile devices.

Lead technical development & on-time delivery of Internet software applications in a fast-paced environment
Help translate requirements into functional specifications & develop high level design for the software engineers
Oversee technical design; recommend alternative technical approaches and lead software engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines
Architect innovative solutions that meet the requirements with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules and minimizing cost of ownership
Build proofs of concept to demonstrate feasibility of architectural designs and vision
Oversee the technical development effort with onshore/offshore software development teams
Responsible to lead the implementation of continuous integration best practices within our development teams. This entails:
Enhancing our test automation framework by building on our current processes/tools (e.g. JUnit, Cobertura, PMD Code Analyzer, QTP)
Developing a pragmatic implementation roadmap to achieve test-driven development for both new and legacy code, where it makes sense from an ROI standpoint
Mentoring the development team to adopt automated testing methodology
5+ years experience with architecture and design of enterprise web applications
5+ years of in depth hands-on experience in Java software development
Ability to work on multiple projects while ensuring each project complies with the vision of the overall ebusiness architecture
Expert level knowledge of modern web development technologies: Java, web services (REST), backend as well as UI frameworks
Experience with Eclipse IDE and Spring framework
Familiarity with WebLogic/JBoss/Tomcat, Clearcase, a plus
Strong expertise and knowledge in both waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Solid experience & track record of managing the complete software development lifecycle for web software applications
Familiarity with best practices in test-driven development, JUnit generation, continuous integration, retrofitting legacy code with automated tests a plus
Experience with one or more of the following:
web content management (e.g. Teamsite)
customer web experience management (e.g. Adobe Marketing Cloud)
web search engines (e.g. Autonomy IDOL, Lucene, Google Search Appliance)
mobile apps and web sites
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
