About this jobReflexion Networks (Boston area) is looking for an exceptional Web UI Designer and Developer to work on several challenging, high visibility projects of strategic business significance. The person who fills this role will be a key contributor to the company?s exceptional engineering team and market success.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates with ?the right stuff? will have very strong skills in the following areas, backed by at least five years of experience developing Web-based commercial software:
Excellent prototyping skills
JavaScript skills must be very strong
Ensuring the security of customer email.
Familiarity with current Java UI frameworks
Knowledge of the latest Web UI tools, such as HTML5, CSS, jQuery and AJAX
Adobe Photoshop or similar image design and editing tools
A good eye for design.
Experience with the latest technologies, such as WebSocket, would be desirable, but is not required. Strong candidates will have an impressive portfolio of prior work. While we are looking for the full spectrum of UI skills, if we must compromise, we would emphasize rapid prototyping capabilities and an ability to ?make pages work? over depth of design experience.
THE DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT
Java, CentOS, Apache Tomcat, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, VMware, Dell EqualLogic.
