JOB SUMMARY
The Webcast Manager is based out of our San Francisco office, and is responsible for project managing live and pre-recorded webcast events. This is a role that requires strict attention to detail, the ability to multi-task effectively, being comfortable interfacing directly with clients, and working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. This position reports to the Director of Webcasting Operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, update and project manage live and on-demand streaming media webcasts
Consistently meet project timelines and deliver flawlessly executed multimedia events
Keep all project stakeholders up to date throughout project life-cycle: pre-event, live-event, and post-event
Troubleshoot technical problems before/during/after the event and work with other technical staff or directly with the client to properly service their needs and technical problems
Rapidly solve problems and make quick decisions during the production of live events
Recognize potential issues and problem solve to neutralize these issues while still respecting the original requirements and deadlines of the project
Maintain ownership and accountability of all project tasks ? ensure that each are completed on time and correctly
Work with Account Managers and Sales to ensure an overall cohesive client experience
Educate clients on ON24?s products and services
Build strong and productive working relationships with both clients and teammates
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor?s degree
Professional experience with MS Office, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
4 years of work experience in a deadline driven environment (experience producing webcasts or working with digital media strongly preferred)
Project Management experience (preferably with digital media)
Excellent organizational, planning, management and communication skills. The ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization to complete assigned projects within the needed deadline
Ability to service clients with a ?can-do? attitude and an invested interest in the success of their projects
Adapts to changes in the work environment and able to deal with delays or unexpected roadblocks
Excellent organizational skills and time management
Accepts responsibility for own actions and follow through on commitments even under tight deadlines
Flexibility to work some off hours to support events (early morning or late evening)
ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS
Basic knowledge of HTML
Experience with audio/video production or a related field
Knowledge of streaming protocols and encoding of audio/video and related tools
