We are currently seeking a Webcast Producer to provide pre-event consulting and coordination as webcasting subject matter expert and successfully execute the production of webcast events.
The Webcast Producer will be responsible for the following tasks (but not limited to):
Support Event Coordinators in planning and defining Webcasts as required
Support Event Coordinators in consulting client users about Webcasts as required
Support Event Coordinators in performing or perform End User Webcast Training as required
Ensure Webcast processes/procedures are documented and communicated to all end users and AV Team members
Produce, record, and edit Webcast AV-Events
Provide Webcast utilization and polling results reports as required
Provide weekly Webcast status reports
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide a high level of customer service, possessing a friendly disposition and the ability to communicate effectively to all levels within the Event planning process.
Review AV-Event forms and recommend Webcast solutions to Event Coordinators based on client requirements.
Participate in Webcast consultation and planning meetings with Event Coordinators and Event organizers and assist in defining Webcast requirements.
Assist in planning and participate in client and technical Webcast Dry Runs and other technical testing sessions and document results.
Partner with Event Coordinator, Event Manager, Booth Operator, AV Techs, and other AV Team members prior to, during and after the Webcast.
Ensure Webcast contingency plans are in place prior to AV-Event to provide backup in case the primary Webcast application is not available.
Work with and monitor AV-Event Calendars as they relate to Webcast scheduling.
Define and configure Webcast AV-Events in the Webcasting system
Be available up to two hours before scheduled Webcast start time to begin set up and testing processes.
Produce the Webcast and manage content delivery methods during the Webcast.
Provide viewer statistics during Webcast and reports on utilization afterwards.
Create, ?push,? and manage the Interactive Polling (surveys) during Webcasts.
Manage and report on polling results after Webcasts complete.
Assist in the development and review of or develop, review, implement, and enforce industry standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the execution and support of successful Webcasts in corporate auditoriums and remote sites.
Assist in the development and review of other Webcast policies and procedures.
Provide or assist in consultation and education to all levels of end users on Webcast presentation technology equipment.
Use skills in all aspects of audio/video, videoconferencing, and IS technologies and productions to test and operate the Webcast systems and equipment prior to, during, and after a Webcast.
Install, set up, configure, test, operate, and tear down audio-visual (AV) and videoconference Webcast systems and equipment as required to produce Webcasts.
Assist in installing Webcast software and hardware at remote sites.
Assist in training new Producers and other AV Tech Team members in the technical and procedural aspects of Webcast production. Maintain the integrity of Webcast applications through appropriate equipment and software management.
Escalate housekeeping and equipment maintenance/upgrade issues to appropriate parties.
Troubleshoot Webcast technical systems or processes as needed.
Provide inventory tracking and asset management documentation as needed for Webcast equipment and systems.
Perform administrative tasks associated with team, such as time reporting and project fulfilment as directed by Operations Manager. Maintain understanding of current and new technology.
Install encoders and servers and related equipment
Perform preventative maintenance on media services assets, encoders, servers, and related equipment, as needed

Skills and Abilities

Experience with execution of large scale, live webcasts
Experience with Accordant Technologies enterprise webcasting solutions (ProducerPRO, AMMS and Capture Station)
Solid understanding of Network Multicasting
Experience with web based technologies (e.g. DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML)
Database server-side experience
Extensive knowledge of TCP-IP and networking standards
Understanding of AV signal types (Composite, S-Video, Component, RGB, RGB-HV, Balanced / Unbalanced Audio).
Highly organized and able to communicate effectively
A team player with a clear understanding of webcasting process and Yorktel's business
Excellent problem solving skills
Ability to work independently a must
Must also be able to participate and work well in a team environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with Webcast technologies and systems
Desired Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in AV ? Event Production
Infocomm Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) is desired but not necessary.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is desired but not necessary.
A working knowledge and experience of Video Conferencing technology (ISDN Network Infrastructure, VoIP, SIP, H.323 Endpoints, Gateways, MCU?s, Gatekeepers, and Video Conference Endpoints)
