SailPoint is hiring an interactive web designer to join the marketing team and establish an innovative, customer-friendly online presence for the corporate website and all associated online marketing properties. This position will develop, maintain and manage www.SailPoint.com, all promotional landing pages, microsites and HTML emails for the marketing team. The right candidate will be able to bring ideas to life online that take site visitors through a journey from awareness and interest and demand. The ability to take an idea or design concepts to HTML while ensuring design is user-friendly, intuitive and effective is critical.
Responsibilities:
Build web pages, microsites, email templates, effective landing pages, interactive ads, and more
Add functionality to our existing website
Write front-end code with HTML, CSS and Javascript (jQuery, JSON)
Write back-end code with PHP
Design projects under the direction of our creative design team
Monitor Google Analytics and identify areas for improvement within the website and where further A/B testing is needed
Interface with a variety of clients ? and personalities ? within the company
Project manage multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a design background but balance that with an analytical viewpoint and a solid understanding of online marketing and metrics. Must be able to project manage several deliverables. Key requirements for this role include:
Expertise in HTML, CSS and Javascript
Object oriented programming skills with PHP
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with MySQL is a plus
Out-of-this-world project management skills
Bachelor?s degree and 2-3 years of experience, preferably in designing and maintaining websites
Careful attention to detail without sacrificing deadlines
A strong work ethic and an ability to perform well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Location
This position will be based in Austin, Texas
Education
2-3 years previous marketing experience in a marketing or interactive agency or client-side on the marketing or web team
BS or BA in marketing, communication, or related area of study required
