Job Requirements:
Training and two years related experience; 5 years related experience and/or training preferred. Must pass weld test. Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions. Basic mathematical skills required to set-up and operate TIG welding process. Must be mechanically inclined and posses a high degree of attention to detail. Ability to meet attendance requirements and safely produce quality product. Accurately read micrometers and calipers. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Responsibilities
With minimum supervision, set-up and operate Manual Welder to TIG weld components according to specifications (aluminum, stainless steel, cast, and cupronickel).
Read and interpret blueprints and/or job orders to determine product specifications.
Set-up fixtures and welding.
Inspect and record quality requirements of finished workpieces.
Use all safety devices/tools to ensure safe operation of welding processes.
Work Schedule:
Train on 1st Shift. Upon completion of training, position will move to 2nd or 3rd shift.
