The West Coast Regional Sales Director will manage and coordinate efforts to deliver our POS solutions working with Tier 1 Cellular carriers across the western part of the USA.
Job responsibilities include:
Development and management of sales engagements with Cellular Carrier OEM partnership programs with Sprint, Verizon, or AT&T.
Coordination of carrier-wide campaigns working with key sales leaders at headquarters.
Engaging directly with carrier reps and with enterprise level customers.
Manage sales activities to build a robust and healthy funnel.
Achieve a closing rate to ensure accomplishment of quarterly and annual sales objectives.
Accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics and field activities.
Successful candidate should have existing carrier relationships up to VP levels, experience with carrier co-selling, track record for revenue growth and exceeding plan. Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit required.
Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or directly-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA a plus.
4+ years of OEM solution data sales or other directly-related experience.
Interpersonal Skills: Able to maintain effective key business relationships with internal clients and external contacts. High comfort level with a collaborative work process.
Organizational/Time Management Skills: Job requires working on multiple concurrent projects. Must be able to keep work tightly organized and manage to meet project deadlines.
Computer Proficiency: Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and solid experience with Internet research.
Communication Skills: Job requires participation in frequent oral discussions and frequent preparation of written communications, both inside and outside the company.
Self-motivated, working effectively in the development and production of schedules. Can work effectively independently, and collaboratively, as part of the broader Sales and Marketing team.
Travel Percentage: 50%
Location: Santa Ana, California, or potentially Virtual Office in a major metropolitan area in a western US state.
