Reports to: Western Area Sales Director
This is a fantastic growth opportunity for a rising star technical sales representative to join Tilera, a thriving late stage start-up and leader in high performance/low power many-core processors. Our "on-chip mesh network" architecture uniquely addresses the needs of processors by providing highest performance, lowest power consumption and ease of software programming. In fact, one of the world?s largest Social Networking company validate our technology approach through industry wide forums and conferences.-
In this newly created position, you will be mentored by a dynamic Western Area Sales Director while identifying new business prospects, expanding the footprint of Tilera and closing lucrative design wins at top Silicon Valley cloud computing companies and other territory accounts. You will work alongside various Tilera partners in order to reach your goals and you?ll manage the complex sales process of high-end processors, advocating to both hardware and software engineers, while developing the imperative C-level executive relationships within your accounts.
You would join a revenue-generating start-up run by executives from top technology companies in the business and have the chance to make a significant contribution to the success of the team. Over the course of your first 12 months, you will become the expert eyes and ears of the Western Area, feeding back to Tilera Corporate the needs and direction your target high performance processor customers are taking, helping to influence the internal strategies/deliverables of Marketing and R&D.
Additional responsibilities will include
Forecasting revenues for your accounts/territory
Maintaining accurate tracking of opportunities using Salesforce.com
Reaching or exceeding revenue and design win pipeline targets
Traveling within your territory as needed
Representing Tilera at local industry events as needed
Experience/Qualifications:
BSEE/BSCS plus 5-7 years in Sales or Technical Marketing
Processor or complex SoC sales experience strongly desired
Experience calling on networking, multimedia, and/or data center/server/cloud OEMs preferred
Demonstrated ability to aggressively identify/penetrate new accounts and grow revenue
Skilled at developing strong relationships at all levels in accounts and at the factory
