DescriptionAs the Western Region Manager, Mid-Enterprise Sales, you will leverage your previous sales management experience to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets. You will be driving our sales to the Mid-Enterprise in the Western Region while recruiting, hiring, training, and motivating a group of highly successful sales professionals. You will be rolling up your sleeves and leading from the front as you help to build pipeline, accurately forecast, assist on sales calls, travel to visit customers and generate revenue growth.
Responsibilities include:
Interacting with members of the Proofpoint team from every department including Finance, Legal, Customer Support, Marketing and Engineering.
Inspect what you expect to manage your staff to perform at a high-level while following all company policies and procedures.
Set the tone, make certain that everything is properly documented in Salesforce, provide approvals, provide expert product knowledge, and make certain that everyone has what they need to be successful.
Lead your team and be their coach and mentor.
Requirements:
10+ years of technology sales experience
3+ years of leadership experience
A successful track record of achieving your sales targets & quota
Integrity is unquestionable
Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce & MS Office
Loves to compete and win, you take the responsibility for your success
Solid communicator, with strong written, verbal, and presentation
Strong organizational skills with strong time management skills
